Professional Biography

Mike Palmisciano is a partner in the New York office of Sullivan & Worcester LLP. A commercial IP attorney with more than a decade of experience, Mike helps global brands, technology companies, and media organizations scale and protect their intellectual property assets.

His practice emphasizes the clearance, prosecution, and enforcement of trademarks and copyrights, guiding clients in domestic and international trademark selection, searching, portfolio management, brand strategy, copyright protection, fair use analysis and content clearance, and domain name acquisitions. He is adept in IP enforcement, handling pre-litigation matters such as cease and desist letters, oppositions, cancellations, DMCA takedowns, domain name disputes, and UDRP actions.

He also focuses on transactional intellectual property matters, including technology and software licensing, content licensing, merchandising, brand licensing, professional services agreements, and terms of use for websites and mobile applications. Mike frequently represents clients in technology transactions, including cloud-based agreements, strategic alliances, and joint development agreements, as well as in the intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions.
